I graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in biology and am currently finishing my MBA in global management while also completing my winemaking certification through UC Davis. Before working at the Ax Billy, I worked in Norfolk, Virginia where I created one of the top wine lists in the world. I am near completion of my Advanced Sommelier course and am currently in the process of applying to take the test for level three advanced sommelier certification. I am also pursuing my diploma with the WSET, wine spirits and education trust, and my ultimate goal is to apply to the master of wine program. Restaurant management has always come natural to me and helps me express my love and knowledge of wine to all parties. If you ask me about my favorite varietal, I will gladly tell you that my love for Dolcetto comes from my Italian roots.
